It is obvious that it is a quenching machine, so quenching must have a quenching medium, otherwise how to quench! Generally, products that are prone to deformation are often quenched with this polyethylene glycol aqueous solution. The commonly used quenching medium for aluminum alloy Z in aluminum alloy quenching furnaces is water. Because water has low viscosity, large heat capacity, fast evaporation heat, strong cooling ability, and is very convenient and economical to use. But its disadvantage is that the cooling capacity decreases after heating.
Quenched and heated products can be cooled in water in three stages: stage D is the film boiling stage. When a hot product comes into contact with cold water, an uneven layer of superheated steam film immediately forms on its surface, which is strong and has poor thermal conductivity, reducing the cooling rate of the product. This is different from the trolley gas furnace and mold preheating furnace. The trolley gas furnace and mold preheating furnace make the furnace hotter, and the higher the temperature, the better. The second stage is the bubble boiling stage. When the steam film is damaged, the liquid near the metal surface undergoes intense boiling and intense heat exchange. The third stage of D is the heat convection stage, where the circulation of cooling water, or the swaying of the product left and right, or the movement of the product up and down, increases the heat exchange between the surface of the product and the water, in order to improve the cooling speed. And aluminum melting furnace, mesh belt furnace, and push rod furnace are three different working modes of boilers. Let me explain them slowly for you in my future articles.
According to the above analysis, in order to quickly break through the D stage and achieve a one-step cooling to ensure uniform cooling of the quenched products, it is necessary to install a compressed air pipe in the quenching water tank for stirring, and at the same time, the products should be swayed appropriately after entering the water tank. In addition, to ensure that the water temperature does not increase too much, the quenching tank should have sufficient capacity (generally more than 20 times the total volume of the quenched product). And the cooling water should have a circulating device. |
